When I was in junior high, I had a science teacher that taught me that"if you do not learn something new everyday, you wasted that day".



Since I remembered that quote from my science teacher, I guess it would be safe to say that I took that quote to heart.



However, I would go a bit further and say that "if you are not "open" to learning something new everyday, you have wasted that day".



Let me explain.



Einstein once said, "You can never solve a problem using the same level of thinking that created it".



In order to solve a problem you need to be "open" to learning, or what I like to call "discovering" something new.



If you continue to get the same results in your life no matter what you do, or if you continue to find yourself in the same situations over and over again, then you may be someone who has decided to not be open to learning something new that could help you to get where you want to be in life.



You may say, well, I am someone who is open to learning something new that could help me get the results I want in my life. If that is the case, then you may have some contradictory in beliefs and thoughts going on. One day you may "believe" you can be rich, however, when it's coming closer to paying the bills, thoughts of lack start creeping in.



Do you see how there are contradictory in beliefs and thoughts. If you have contradictory beliefs and thoughts, you will cease to create the kind of life you desire.



Take time this week to see if you have contradictory beliefs and thoughts about what you desire.



Remember, be open and willing to discover something new that can help you to create the kind of life you desire to live.
